restoring one application???
 

Help Dave...
I've totally frigged up my Microsoft Office by trying to update it w/o success. How do I restore just that application from my backup? I can't figure out how to get all the stupid preferences and the gigs of data Microsoft attaches to its apps. Please walk me through the process slowly, 'cause my brain is fried right now with trying to fix Microsoft by myself.

Well, you could *try* to drag back the Microsoft Office folder, Lea; that's where I'd start.
