Restore and enable spotlight

I just restored my hard drive contents from a SD! backup to a new hard drive. Everything went well. However, Spotlight appears to be disabled and will not index. I think this is because the backup always ended with a "Disable Spotlight" command. Is there a way to enable Spotlight on my new hard drive?

Yep. In Termnal, run the following (assuming the new drive is the startup drive):

sudo mdutil -i on /

Enter your password when promptrd (it won't echo) and press return. That should do it!
