I need to make offsite backups of about 250 GB of photos (mostly it's just three High Sierra .photoslibrary files). I have tried Apple iCloud but it seems wonky and/or unreliable. Is there a cloud service that SD! can treat as an external drive for a ~weekly smart backup (that doesn't require copying the whole thing from scratch each time)? Otherwise, is there a recommended way to accomplish this? ARQ sounds good from what little research I've done, but I'm new to this.

Have you considered just using Backblaze?

I hadn't, but now that I have looked at it it looks promising. Thanks for the suggestion! (I gather that the answer to my original question is that no, SD! is not designed to use a cloud storage area for the backup.) (I'd prefer to use SD! since all the infrastructure is there, but it appears BackBlaze is pretty painless and transparent.)

Yes. It's really designed for this kind of thing, with a client/server infrastructure setup, unlimited storage, unthrottled transfers, and quite cheap.
