I've actually had this issue for across several macOS and SD! versions. I'm finally getting around to posting this.

macOS 10.12.6
SuperDuper! 3.1.4 (106)

One of my SD! scenarios is to clone/copy to an (encrypted)) diskimage.
I manually mount the desired diskimage in the Finder and then launch SD! and select it as the destination.
SD! indicates that the copy has completed successfully, I then quit the app.

In the Finder, if I then try to trash an item from the recently cloned diskimage, I can't.
I get the message "The operation can’t be completed because one or more required items can’t be found. (Error code -43)"

Ejecting and re-mounitng the diskimage allows me to successfully trash the items.

Ideally, I would not need to eject and remount the diskiamge in order to work with it after having done a clone.

I don't know why it would be doing that, Timmy, but perhaps relaunching Finder will fix it?

I guess I'll try that next time.
It only ever happens after running a copy with SD! with so it seems like it might be implicated...

It's more likely that we're copying outside of what Finder's doing, and it doesn't "know" we did it. That's why I'm suggesting restarting it, which may "kick it" into looking at the actual drive, or refreshing its info.
