My startup Sandbox is now full and I'm wondering if there is an article or some other info available on what files are safe to delete.

I found some installer packages in the library, not sure if they are OK to delete.

Should files be deleted from the HD, then copy HD back to Sandbox or can they be deleted from Sandbox.

You shouldn't generally delete anything you wouldn't delete from the original drive. Are you running from the Sandbox?

I run from the Sandbox most of the time, but not right now because it's full...I've been using it for about 6 years and it started out using at least 15gb - now it is using all 32gb.
I recently erased and recopied Sandbox from HD, hoping that would help, but it just helped a little.

thank u for your reply

The problem is that the base OS and the various libraries that need to be shared have managed to get much larger over the years. Of course, disk space has become cheaper, too. But there's little you can leave out - you'd probably need a larger volume for the Sandbox.
