Just a quick FYI:
I was able to successfully do a Source (OS) to Target copy and boot
from the latter on two different disk Makes: Seagate 320GB External
FW, and Maxtor 300GB External FW.
Both disks were partitioned such that there was a bootable partition
and a (much larger) data partition...
