Latest Version of Super Duper
10.6.8 Snow Leopard

Here's what I did:

I had two newertech mini 500 gb drives that I used with Super Duper to copy and mirror contents on one to the other.

One of those drives failed. I was however always able to repair permissions on them using Disk Utility - either one.

I got a Newer Tech Guardian Maximus (raid). I used SuperDuper to copy the mini 500 gb external drive to the Newer Tech Guardian Maximus.

1. I erased the Newer Tech Guardian Maximus
2. Fired up Super Duper
3. Did Erase and Copy Mini 500 to Newer Tech Guardian Maximus

Everything is working but when I run the Disk Utility to repair permissions - the option on the Newer Tech Guardian Maximus is greyed out - Both Verify and Repair.

Any ideas? I rebooted - etc.

This is an external drive, or a boot drive? You can only repair permissions on a boot drive (one with an OS on it).
