I want to reinstall 10.6...just checking...

I am creating a clean, shiny back up of my HD using SD.

I want to reinstall OSX on the iMac.

So, when that is done, i should not do a restore, or should I?

Should I just drag all the files (except some) from SD to the HD?

Well... a Snow Leopard "reinstall" just puts a fresh OS under your existing applications & data. So there should be no reason to restore.
