Can this be used to create a bootable DVD? I need a bootable DVD with 1 application on it.

Sorry, no - we don't support optical media.

I was going to suggest using DasBoot (http://www.subrosasoft.com/OSXSoftware/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=193) but it doesn't appear to support optical media as a destination.
