can I superduper restore new macbkpro onto an older macbook

Both are intel macs. THe macbkpro has snow leopard and the macbook is just leopard. I have tested and I am able to boot from the superduper drive, but I got nervous because the macbook is 3 years old.

You should be able to, yes, especially if you've already tested starting up from the backup.
