Hi - just thought I'd ask anyone for suggestions...

I did a full backup to a new drive using SD pre-Snow-Leopard and checked that it booted OK and then proceeded with the upgrade some weeks ago.

Everything has been super-smooth, no problems at all. On a daily basis I use Time Machine on another drive, and I have checked the integrity of that backup and it seems OK.

BUT - I really like being able to have a bootable backup. So I'm thinking of doing a new backup. What do people suggest? Archive an image of the outdated Leopard backup and then do a new backup with SD of the current state of my computer? Just delete the Leopard backup entirely and do the new backup, knowing that I have the Time Machine disk to rely on in case of problems? Smart backup of the existing backup created under Leopard?

I realize that in any case I'm quite well backed up (wearing a belt AND suspenders) so in some ways the question is academic, but I'm curious as to others' choices in this circumstance.

Get another backup drive (~$100) and start a new set of backups to that drive? :)
