is it possible to mount a drive on an OS 9 Mac and the get SuperDumper to olone the local OS X system onto that OS 9 network mounted partition, then for the OS 9 to be made to boot into that new clone partition?

Unfortunately, no. We can't copy directly to a volume across a network, redleader.
Sorry!

Never-mind....
My option now is to try and boot the G3 B&W into FW mode and get it to mount on the G3 Beige as an external FW drive?
Seems I'll have to install a basic OS X onto it anyway to boot into FW mode as OS 9 does'nt seem to want to do that when holding down the T or H keys.
...next problem... the G3 system was installed with XPostFacto ... wonder what that will do as a clone to a G3 B&W !.. this should all be a good 'learning curve' as my Dad use to say.
Thanks for your help :-)

I don't know if the B&W G3s support FireWire Target Disk Mode, redleader... and I'm pretty darned sure that the Beige G3s don't support FireWire boot...
This is definitely going to be a challenge. Sorry I can't be of more help...

It's good just not to be all alone in the night...
Excellent and speedy support, thank you, bye.
