View Full Version : I cannot make a copy: SVUAgent is not running as root

Whenever I tried to make a copy, SuperDuper! crashes with no message. I got the following error in the Console: "Jul 29 09:06:32 Denef SuperDuper![468]: ***ERROR OCCURRED: SVUAgent 472 is not running as root."

The number (472) changes in each crash.

I have repaired the permissions but the problem still remains.

Are you launching SuperDuper! from Spotlight, and running from the backup drive rather than the startup drive?

Yes, I was doing that. I can now make the copy.
