Temp System Move

I'm just wondering if there is a way to move my whole system (imac intel) on to an Intel Mac Book for a short period whilst on vacation. The Mac Book belongs to my Wife so we'd need to preserve her system but have mine on there too so that I can access my apps / emails etc. Any ideas suggestions would be appreciated.

Well... not easily, no, given you also want your Wife's data on there. It's one thing to make a full copy onto the other Mac (no real problem). It's another to try to merge two systems...
