Back Up Without Erasing destination disk

I have an external USB hard drive which I use for back ups. Is there a way with SuperDuper to Back Up Without Erasing the files on the destination disk?

Short answer is yes, but you should read over the FAQ to see which methods do work like that. I'm new to Superduper and just found that answer in about 30 seconds when skimming the faq.
