Smart Update Won't Start

For the first time I am having trouble with SuperDuper! Twice I have tried to start a Smart Update before I went to work and come back the following morning to find it still working on the permissions. Any thoughts?

As I said in response to your emailed support request (no need to send email and post here), try powering everything off and back on.
