General Discussion Read Posts

I'm sure I should know this but I don't. How do I find threads that I haven't read yet?

Have been off the SD discussion group for a few days and would like to pick up reading where I left off.

I used to think the discussions which were a lighter color were those I hadn't read yet, but now I'm not sure there's a differentiation.

Am sorry to bother y'all with this but ....I just don't know...::confused:

I use Linear (http://www.shirt-pocket.com/forums/faq.php?faq=vb3_board_usage#faq_vb3_thread_display ) - Oldest First thread display mode along with the New Posts (http://www.shirt-pocket.com/forums/faq.php?faq=vb3_board_usage#faq_vb3_new_posts) link in the blue bar that starts with User CP and FAQ. I use the “blue square with white down arrow head” icon (http://www.shirt-pocket.com/forums/images/buttons/firstnew.gif) to jump to the start of the unread messages in each thread from the New Posts list.

If you leave for too long (the help says 10 days), this method will ‘drop’ messages. For my visits every day, two days, or three days, it works fine for me. It does catch the message in all the forums (for other Shirt Pocket products), but the traffic in the other forums is very light.
