Restored New Hard Drive - Apple Apps Don't Run? Please help!

Had a hard drive crash, got new hard drive thru Apple, they put OS 10.4.7 on drive, I booted with external drive (SuperDuper Clone from previous drive) and when it asked me to "transfer docs" from another Mac, I said "Yes" and everything came across. All documents came across, other programs work, but main Apple programs don't open at all (iPhoto, iTunes, etc). Please help!!!

Wait: you started up from the external? It shouldn't have asked you if you wanted to transfer from another Mac. You started up from the internal, I assume.

If true -- and I think it must be -- those apps are from the clean install. They should just run... perhaps you need to update back to 10.4.11?
