SuperDuper! backup always fails halfway through the copy no matter if I try a full erase then copy or a smart update.

I have Panic's CandyBar 3 installed and the logs seem to indicate that SuperDuper! is choking on something to do with that.

Here is the error portion of the log:

| 01:00:49 PM | Error | ditto: /Users/jadams/Library/Application Support/CandyBar/Icons/01/10/./1A1CCF6A-9332-4DC0-BB90-6924E3D5A765.pxicon: Input/output error

Indeed, that file looks bad. Have you reviewed the Troubleshooting section of the User's Guide (Help > User's Guide)? It goes into detail about how to diagnose this kind of problem...

I've deleted that particular file (a CandyBar icon) and re-ran the backup. The backup just finished successfully now. Also, as indicated in the help file, I'm going to go ahead a repair disk on my boot volume and see if that clears up some of the I/O warnings that are also in the log.

Thanks
