Restoring bookmarks from safari

Did an erase and install with leopard over the latest version of tiger. Performed backup with SD prior to doing this on ext FW drive. I did not sync my bookmarks in safari with my .mac account prior to the erase and install for quite some time. How can I go back and sync my bookmarks off of the SD copy or reclaim the bookmarks in some other way. Any help would be much appreciated.:eek:

The bookmarks are in the "Safari" folder in Library (off your Home folder) on the backup.
