I'm retiring my +old iBook and replacing with a MacBook. Can I use my SuperDuper! clone to start my new Macbook and then copy it to the new hard drive. I'm using Leopard 10.5.2. Thanks

Definitely not, but you can start up your new Mac and "migrate" from your old one (or a copy of it) when it asks you if you want to copy "from another Mac".

I made an unclear, unthoughtout question. I should remember to put the brain in gear before engaging the keyboard. The proper question should have been:Can I use my intel iMac clone to start the new Macbook and then copy it to the drive? Thanks again.

You might be able to, but -- again -- it's best to migrate. You can always "clone" to the drive later if you find it necessary, but it's quite likely that the migration will serve quite well.

You can migrate from either a full copy or directly from the iMac.
