OS X 10.5.1, SuperDuper 2.5
Spotlight does not index external drive
Ran Cocktail with repair permissions
Erased external drive
Ran SuperDuper without repair permissions backing up all file

I had searched posts on the filename not the I/O 5 error. After I posted the first response, I looked for the I/O 5 msgs and found a bunch. Does this look like a problem with the external drive?
