Hi

I am a longtime SuperDuper user, but I now have a new iMac with Leopard, a Boot Camp partition and, on my Mac partition, a virtual machine running VMware Fusion. Previously, I did not have Fusion or Boot Camp as I was using a PowerPC system. While waiting for the new version of SuperDuper, I thought I'd like to have these questions answered.

1. SuperDuper will clone the Mac partition but leave the Boot Camp partition alone. It will not be backed up. If I want to back it up, I should use Winclone. Is this right?

2. The SuperDuper clone will include everything on Mac partition, including Fusion and everything installed in it (Windows XP, etc.). If I have to do a restore, I may have to fiddle with a bit (perhaps reinstall Fusion), but everything should still be there. Is that right?

Thanks!

That's right, in both cases -- however, as stated elsewhere, SD! is not yet fully leopard compatible, so your full restore won't work until our Leopard update is out.
