Sandbox on desktop?

Usage Tip on page 38: is unclear to me, what does it mean?

"making the Sandbox in a folder on the desktop" ?

I have a Sandboxpartition. Where do I put the new application images as to use them on both OS?

In that sentence, the Sandbox isn't in a folder -- the applications, etc that were installed since making the Sandbox (in a partition) are stored in a folder on the Desktop.

I install the Application. Store the package in an folder on the desktop. Change disks and install them again . Is that right?

That's exactly what that note is suggesting, yes.
