I was wondering if it would be ok if I had bittorrent (specifically Transmission) running while SuperDuper! performs a backup? What does SuperDuper! do if I am actively downloading a file via Transmission? Does it skip the file, copy what has been downloaded at time it reaches the file, or would it wait until the file is done downloading?

In regards to seeding a file, I doubt Transmisssion will affect SuperDuper! if all it is doing is seeding.

Thanks in advance,

Eric

No, not a good idea, but it'll be OK if you create a copy script that excludes your BitTorrent downloads directory.

Thanks for the reply. I think I will either follow your suggestion or somehow figure out how to get Transmission to either close or pause before the backup.
