Any plans for or thoughts about adding Amazon S3 capability to SuperDuper?

It's something we're thinking about, but it's not a short term kind of feature.

Has anyone been successfully backing up to Amazon S3 with SyperDuper! via JungleDisk? I would like to do so, but on another backup forum I read something about how S3 doesn't (or at one point didn't) allow file renames, and that caused some problems for backups. Thoughts?
Thanks,
Erik

I think it's highly unlikely this is going to work acceptably, emilkysa...

Thank you for the reply Dave.
I'd love to see SuperDuper to S3 capabilities in the future.
All the best,
Erik

Perhaps a SuperDuper to DiskImage to auto-semgment utility to stay under the 5GB limit?

Hi emikysa, JungleDisk has recently added file rename functionality. It's a bit of a hack since S3 doesn't support it natively, but it appears to work just fine and it no longer requires deleting/re-uploading the file.
I haven't tried it with SuperDuper! yet.
