Using SD 2.1.3 on a new Macbook pro. As I was backing up to external HD, I tripped on the cord, disconnecting the power to the HD. I reconnected, stopped the back up, then did a new back up using smart update. All went fine. Except SD renamed the destination volume HD-1 instead of HD. Even after a reboot, and a 2nd smart copy, SD continues to label the destination volume HD-1 although the volume remains named HD in the finder. So, it seems to work, but I am a little bothered by the name change. Any suggestions?

Eject all external drives, then open the hidden "/Volumes" folder using Finder's "Go To Folder" command. You'll find a folder named the same as the external drive. Delete that folder, then restart, and you should be all set.

If the folder isn't there, just restart and the bad "mount point" will be cleared by the system.
