For some reason, I'm unable to back up at all to a remote webdav volume that I've mounted (and let the program mount on boot up). .....

I get the following error:

| 09:42:56 PM | Info | ...ACTION: Mounting backup
| 09:42:56 PM | Info | ......COMMAND => Preparing backup
| 09:42:56 PM | Info | ......COMMAND => Setting ownership and access modes for '/Volumes/online/backup.sparseimage'
| 09:42:57 PM | Info | ......COMMAND => Mounting backup
| 09:54:11 PM | Error | hdiutil: attach failed - no mountable file systems

any ideas? :(

That message indicates that the image on the far side is corrupt. Try opening Disk Utility, then dragging the image file into the sidebar. Select the entry, then use Disk First Aid to repair it. Hopefully it'll be able to correct what's wrong...

Greetings,

When I start a new backup to the remote webdav, it still won't initiate the backup of the folders and files. I've tried this with backing up a single folder (small size) and it won't initiate it.

Also, Disk Utility does not let me mount webdav volumes ....

any other ideas? :) would really like to give superduper a shot!

What does it do? The same thing, "no mountable file systems"?
